Throwback Thursday - CN Power Snapshot, Part C

CN 7230 is working at the top end of the London yard.

By Peter Mumby.
Today's post is the final instalment in the current three-parter regarding CN power operating in and through London during the 1980s and 1990s.  We will see another rebuilt GP9, specifically GY-418c number 7230.  The "Y" in this class heading denotes a yard engine.  Also available for your viewing is F7Au 9165, one of several such locomotives which called the London roundhouse home in the early 1980s.  These units were favourites for plow service north of Hyde Park on the Exeter Sub.  And finally, another "Sweep of the day" photo - by now you either love 'em or hate 'em!

CN 9165 heads up a nice assortment of first-generation power at London East.

CN 7104 is ready to go to work near Highbury Ave.
