Peter back in 2016 when we visited George's F&SM during the Fine Scale Expo. |
Peter has also helped me out throughout the years I have been posting on this blog. His Throwback Thursday was a weekly event. We also since I retired in 2009 till Covid in 2020 had our Monday afternoon workshops which where really fun. Sometimes we would work on something, other times we just ran a train or looked at photos on the computer.
I put together some photos I had taken of Peter over the years. Some have been on the blog but nice to visit again as a group telling a story of the fun times we had together...George Dutka

ReplyDeleteMy condolences on the loss of your friend
ReplyDeleteThe passing of Peter is terribly sad news. Such a nice man.
ReplyDeleteHi Guys, Good to hear from you and thanks for your thoughts. I will pass them along to Ann when I am over there next week. George
ReplyDeleteThank you George for letting us know; this is indeed sad news to hear. I was lucky to have known Peter for about 25 years from the shows, and later attending the FCRS meetings with him, and he was always extremely generous with his time and information. My dad has known him from the train shows for probably over 40 years and he was always the first stop when we got to our local show (Ancaster). I've missed seeing him at the shows since the pandemic started, but fortunately we have a lot of his photographs to look back on. Please express our condolences to his family.
