| D&H 212 was spotted on the CP at Puslinch on April 03, 1994. |
D&H 212 was a 1947 cubic foot capacity ore car built by Bethlehem in 1965. It belonged to series 100-240. As delivered it featured black ends and yellow sides. Lettering on the sides was in blue. The attached central panel was lettered as follows:
“FOR ILMENITE
LOADING ONLY
RETURN TO D&H
NORTH CREEK, N.Y.”
By the time this photo was exposed, the car’s ore-carrying days were over and it was in general service.
