Weathering Frt. Cars

A new Accurail kit and my completed model. You can see there was a lot of carving off rquired. The roof is yet to be weathered.

I have not been doing much modeling but I got out some of my freight cars that needed a bit of attention. The CV boxcar has been done for years but I wanted to try some of the effects I now use on the roofing. Hope you like it...George Dutka 

Creamcoat rainy day gray is applied like a wash then Pan Pasels from these two pods went on next. The running boards are painted Floquil grime.  

The roof is about done when I took this photo.
