Well,
not literally my nose, but it was the day I made my one and only photo
of an SD70M wearing the famous SP bloody nose paint scheme. I had seen
and photographed lots of the SP/SSW GP60 units on test and under
delivery, but this was a relatively small order, and for me there was no
second opportunity. The unit was posed at the far east end of the GMD
test track near Industrial Road in London. The CP mainline is visible
in the foreground.
