Throwback Thursday - CN London Reclamation Yard, Part Three

The Reclamation Plant was outfitted with a fairly standard looking scale house and scale track.  This is how things looked on June 23, 1991.
By Peter Mumby.
This week we will take a final look at the general layout of the yard and its associated infrastructure.  I will show you a few more of the structures, although I can't provide details on many of their specific uses.  Then we will be able to start examining some of the interesting rolling stock that had come to London on its final trip.

This view provides a look at a cluster of the larger buildings in the plant.  The date was February 23, 1991.
The cars in the foreground have been stripped to the bare essentials.  In the background we can see another boxcar door fence.  February 23. 1991.
In this long row of forty footers, the two cars closest to the camera have been modified to carry woodchips.  February 23, 1991.
CN 51365 is a water tank which was recently retired from OCS service.  It awaits its fate on January 27, 1990.
