Modeling Milk Cans

Tichy milk cans just out of the package.

I used to just paint my milk cans silver and call it a day. I also liked using Tichy milk cans as one gets 50 in a package. If you are modeling a creamery you will go through a lot. Now days I like having my milk cans looking a bit used and tarnished so I have been using MIG gun metal paint followed by a light coat of PanPastel neutral grey...George Dutka  

MIG paints flow really nice so one coat is all one needs.

I leave the milk cans on the spurs while painting and weathering.
