Mac Yard March 2008
Here is a view I took at Mac Yard from the engine during March 2008 while waiting to depart on train 435. This is a paint or graffiti project one can work on. I can't figure what someone gets out of spending all that money on spray cans (you can not do all that with a couple of cans) do all that work and never seeing the car again...George Dutka

  1. I think it's more about leaving their mark where everybody can see it. A building is set in a place, a car will move thousand miles and will be seen by a large array of people.

I often see cylindrical grain cars fully covered in on large graffitti painted with rollers and regular paint. Seriously, they have to be well-organized to do such thing! Yet, it's just random defacing in the end for most of us. It's the main reason I'm not eager to model the post-1993 era. I don't want to ruin my cars!
