A weather beaten Geep is at the shop in London, Ontario on Jan 8, 1990. I was going through Peter views and thought this was a great bit of inspiration for you guys looking for a weathering project...George Dutka

CN Whitby Station

These black and white photo's showing the Whitby station on a flatbed trailer being moved across the train tracks from the station's original location on Feb. 16 1970.

The Whitby station was built at the foot of Byron St. on the GTR in 1903 near the current GO platform. The station closed in 1969 and in 1970 was moved to the north east corner of Victoria and Henry St. for use as an art gallery. In 2004 the station was moved again across the road to Whitby Iroquois Park and is still used as an art gallery and a location for everyone to take art classes. A side building has been built which has a basement area which is used as workshops. The station remains in great shape and is connected to the new building via an enclosed breezeway. I stop by most times I find myself in the area...George Dutka
