indicated by the words
“SLEEPER
WORK-SHOP”
as stencilled on the lower right side. Note the roof-mounted water tank
and the words
“WATER
ONLY”
to the left of the sliding door. The car still has its roof walk, probably to permit
access to this tank. A stack mounted close to this tank would seem to imply an
interior heater.
