Weathering

Two loading docks that is added to the Myers mill is seen with different weathering approaches but look similar.

My wood weathering is Hunterline weathering mix followed by a coat of Floquil grime. With Floquil a thing of the past other options are required. I found Hunterline cement used in place of grime gives almost the same effect on wood. The dock in the foreground is done with the Floquil grime and the one at the rear is Hunterline concrete. I also applied a touch of AK wash for wood in the cracks between the boards. I believe Hunterline now has a driftwood stain that might work also...George Dutka
