MEC Weathered Roof

This car is I think a Cox model that I painted, detailed and lettered back in the 1980's. I lighted the side panels with a light brushing of PanPastel Chrome Ox Green Shade.
This is another roof job I did last week. Both this car and the CV one were done in less than an hour. So a simple quick project...George Dutka

On this car I wanted the roof to look a bit more rusty...similar to ones I have seen when they are old and worn. I used AK dark rust deposits followed by some Vallejo rust texture in the middle of the roof panels. PanPastel raw umber shade is then applied. Neutral grey shade is applied to running boards. I may go back over things with AK pencils.
