Rapido Reefers

Don's string of reefers has two Rapido offerings sandwiched between two Athearn offerings. Note the fence that is keeping the cows in place. I thought it looked very realistic and is offered by Woodland Scenic. Phone photo.

A visit this week to Don Janes to get a few engines tuned up gave us a chance to catch up. We have been out railfanning, train show and hobby shop visits together this year but it has been almost a year since I last visited his layout. Two of the new additions to his fleet are Rapido offerings that look way to nice and clean. He has plans to dirty them up a little although for his era they are almost new. He has me thinking now of a visit to the hobby shop soon...George Dutka
