Welcome, follow along with George Dutka in his journal which documents the additions and future thoughts for the HO scale White River Division model railroad and to his continuing historical New England railroad research. The White River Division is now in its 19th modeler's season. The "modeler's season" runs from November to April each year. Inspiration comes from the Boston and Maine, Rutland and Central Vermont Railway during the 1950's with extra posts by Don Janes and Keith MacCauley.

Rutland Ry No. 405 at Bellows Falls during Oct 1982. I scanned this photo that my friend Chris Martin took and used as a Christmas card some years ago...George Dutka
Morning I was searching the internet about Hopper Line kits, which lead me to your posting in 2024 about a Hopper Line stone shed. I just purchased a Hopper Line engine house from Ebay and I was looking for more info on the manufacturer. I have to say What a great kit! WOW stick building 2x4 by 2x4 cool! Just wondering if you had a Hopper Line catalog or brochure about other kits they had. Thanks. By the way... LOVE the website! Well laid out and eye catching. Was up in White River in 2008 unwinding after a military deployment and have pictures of the round house before it burned. Sorry to hear. I'm sure it was devastating to the company and railfans. Definitely bookmarking this site. Thanks for letting me chat.
Hi Chessie Joe, no I don't recall a catalog and what other kits he produced. These kits were offered back in the 1980's and 1990's from a modeler in Sarnia, Ontario Canada. That is about all I know. George
Hi George sorry if I am being redundant, not sure if my earlier post today went through.... on Ebay at Trainz the Hopper Line field stone shed kit popped up on 11.25.2025 for sale.

DeleteThanks George. FYI Trainz on EBay just listed (11/26/25) the Hopper Line stone cottage kit if you are still lamenting the kit. $22.00.
