CN Station Burlington, Ont. - Layout

I have been at an old timers basketball tournament in Burlington, Ont. the last three days. Saturday between games I headed out to the refurbished CNR Station. It has been relocated and finished. It now has a basement that houses a G scale layout...George Dutka

This is what one sees as they walk into the basement

On the layout there are a nice group of small dioramas that are great to view.

This diorama might have been my favourite with the old car sitting on the track while the owner works away. The front hood is also located on the tracks.

At one end of the layout there is a small  electronics room painted as an engine cab with a see through window. A very creative bunch here at work.

The model of the station is very well built.

Another overall view. There is a lot to do. I will be coming back to see how it all turns out. By the way they usually are included on the November Hamilton layout tour.

This structure looks good. It surprising how much detail one can add in a large scale.
