Welcome, follow along with George Dutka in his journal which documents the additions and future thoughts for the HO scale White River Division model railroad and to his continuing historical New England railroad research. The White River Division is now in its 17th modeler's season. The "modeler's season" runs from November to April each year. Inspiration comes from the Boston and Maine, Rutland and Central Vermont Railway during the 1950's with additional posts by Don Janes and Peter Mumby.

Burlington, Vermont Postcard
This postcard view is marked at Burlington, Vt. but I do not recall this type of an overpass to the tracks in any photos I have seen....George Dutka
I Googled "Burlington VT Railroad Station" and clicked on Images. There is a photograph from the website Internet Archives that shows this overpass. The photo is dated 1921-08-06.
The overpass is registered on the Sanborn maps for the station (see 1942 edition at LOC - https://www.loc.gov/resource/g3754bm.g089121942/?sp=41&r=0.678,0.197,0.196,0.136,0 )
