The
BNSF merger was officially formalized in September of 1995. At this
time GMD was in the midst of producing SD70MAC locomotives for BN, and
this run continued unabated after the merger. These two photos bracket
the 09/95 time period, providing before and after views of these units
in their as-delivered appearance.
