The Sudbury CP station is being scratch built using styrene. Chris van der Heide is building this structure. |
This model railway club has good modelers that are working to emulate the CP around Sudbury, Ont. during the 1970's. They are building as many structures as they can following the prototype. This is an ambitious project that seems to be coming together well. Trains being operated during my visit was smooth running. Here are a few photos of what I enjoyed seeing...George Dutka

The Waterloo Region Model Railway Club is housed in this metal shed located in Maryhill just north of Waterloo. The layout is double decked with stairs to a second floor. |
|
The layout in this area on the second floor is only about 8 inches wide. The structures are all painted on the backdrop. I found it quite effective. |

A display of 3-D printed cars at the spray booth. These models are being made by Chris van der Heide. |

One of the strings of 3-D printed CP ore cars. There are more than one version of these car. |

The ice house in Sudbury is complete. A photo of the prototype is seen behind the scratch built model. |

The club has modelers that are good at weathering rolling stock. Here we see two covered hoppers that have received a pin wash. |
