Trip to Springfield and the Big E

Don't recall this size of pocket cameras. Kodak Center. Peter Mumby photo
Last week Peter and I traveled to Springfield over a 5 day period. We took in the Kodak Center and railfanned Rochester, Utica, Syracuse and the Rensselaer Amtrak station. We also visited with Kip Grant and hung around Palmer as seen in a past post...George Dutka

Looks like work being done in Utica, NY Peter Mumby photo.

Custom built models. I have been selling mine for a fraction of these prices. Interesting to know about half of them sold quickly....hum maybe a price increase is in order.
FOS kit of the month display.
N scale Roomettes are now available.
BEST now offers basic kits for $20...not a bad deal.
Peter gets a shot of the new Rapido announcement.

The 1/87 vehicles display had some very nicely detailed scenes.
This was a cool display. Think Peter might be up for some exercise. These track cars are offered in three locations for rail tours.
BarMills Jack Ellis put on a great presentation which Peter and I enjoyed while resting our legs.
One of Mr. Ellis's model displays being passed around.
